We have been in business since 1984 and we are among the largest providers of apartment management in Oregon and SW Washington. This could only be possible by having great associates who care and have ownership in the company. We provide a larger manager-to-property ratio than most professional property management firms. This allows our Portfolio Managers to spend more "hands on" time on each property. Our accounting staff has an excellent reputation for timely and accurate reporting.
Freddy is the founder and President of Princeton Property Management. She has been in the profession since her arrival in Portland in 1976. Freddy has served as President of the Multifamily Housing Council and the Metro Multifamily Housing Association, and has served on the board of the Housing Development Center. She is a graduate of New York University.
Director of Operations
Amy began her tenure at PPM in 1997 as Office Manager. She was directly responsible for all aspects of front office management and personnel. In 2011 Amy left to join Nike as a Project Coordinator for Global Sales. After completing an exciting four years with Nike which included world travel, Amy decided to rejoin PPM as Director of Operations. She lends her considerable knowledge and expertise to the daily operations of Princeton Property Management.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Allison joined Princeton in 1986. She graduated from California State University at Los Angeles and has been a licensed Oregon broker since 1985. She holds an IREM 301 certificate in marketing and management of residential properties. Her experience includes managing conventional, LIHTC, rural development, Home, commercial and manufactured housing. She was named Manager of the year in 2008 by the State of Oregon for her work in property rehabilitation.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Greg Knakal has been in the property management field since 1994, and with Princeton Property Management since 2002. Greg has been an instructor for the National Apartment Association and is past President of Metro Multifamily Housing Association. Greg is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College.
Joletta began her property management career in 2003 when she moved to Portland. She joined Princeton Property Management in 2008. Joletta has real estate sales and teaching experience, and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina.
Laura joined Princeton in August 2007. She has more than 10 years experience in the multi-family housing industry, and is a Certified Green Property Manager (CGPM). This designation reflects a commitment to environmentally friendly and energy efficient property management, focusing on site sustainability and maintenance, with a focus on sustainable practices. Laura attended the University of Washington with a concentration in Spanish and Communications and holds a BA in the Administration of Business Marketing.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Laura has been in the property management industry for 23 years, and with Princeton Property Management since 2000. Her interest in marketing has proven an asset in our training classes. Laura has served on several Metro Multifamily Housing Association committees.
Leslie joined our staff in 2005. She has more than 17 years both managing and training. In addition to conventionally financed properties, she is well versed in LIHTC, HOME, HUD, RD, and bond programs. She is a graduate of the University of Portland.
Michele joined our team with 19 years of management experience. She has managed all types of residential properties, as well as commercial real estate. Michele holds a Real Estate Brokers license for the State of Washington.
Director of Human Resources
Colleen has managed our Human Resources Department for over 20 years. Before moving to Oregon, she did similar work in California. Colleen is a graduate of San Diego State University.
Human Resources Specialist
Nicole has been on our staff since 2004. She excelled as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, Yardi Expert, Accounting Assistant, and was recently promoted to Human Resources/Payroll Specialist.
Bianca joined Princeton Property Management as the recruiter in 2014 bringing 6 years of on-site property management experience on conventional, tax-credit, senior and lease-up properties. In 2011 she decided to go back to school to obtain a degree in Human Resources to make a career change into an area she loves. She attended Oregon State University, The University of Scranton and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Dana came to Princeton Property Management in 2006 with experience in both apartment and retail management. Her first responsibilities were both on-site and as a Transition Specialist. She is presently the Corporate Trainer.
Shelly joined our staff in 2010 as the Office Assistant, she was promoted to Receptionist in 2011 and most recently promoted to HR Assistant. Shelly’s work experience includes over 15 years working in a corporate office environment.
Director of Finance
Tiffany has been with Princeton Property Management since 1999. She is responsible for managing the operations of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments.
Julie joined Princeton Property Management in May of 2013. Her years of Accounts Payable experience at such prestigious companies as the Port of Portland, Vestas American Wind Technology and Blount make her a valuable asset in our Accounts Payable department. Her responsibilities include utilities, vendor maintenance, and filling in where needed.
Associate Portfolio Manager
Jenny began her property management career in 2000 when she first joined Princeton Property Management as an Office Assistant and Human Resources Specialist. She rejoined the company in 2012 as the Associate Portfolio Manager providing assistance to all upper management staff including the Director of Operations and the CEO. Jenny has extensive knowledge of Landlord Tenant Laws and Fair Housing Laws. She is currently working on her Associate Degree in Business Management.

Laura has been in the property management field since 1996. She joined our Accounting Department in 2004, and is currently working as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Laurie has worked in our Accounts Receivable Department since 2005. Before joining Princeton Property Management, Laurie worked as an Administrative Assistant and Accounting Specialist for a national utility location company.
Director of Business Development
Leif joined Princeton Property Management in August of 2012. He has 15 years of experience in several, diverse professional real estate capacities. Since 1997, Leif has as worked as a multi-family broker for CB Richard Ellis and served as land acquisition manager for Centex Homes – Portland Division (now Pulte Homes, Inc.). Most recently, Mr. Anderson worked in real estate acquisitions for Portland’s regional government, Metro. His experience is enhanced by his Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Planning and Management and a Master’s in Business Administration. He also holds real estate broker licenses in the states of Oregon and Washington.
Accounts Payable Specialist
Kacey joined our accounting staff in January 2012 as our Accounts Payable Utility Specialist. In February 2013, Kacey was promoted within the accounting department and now takes care of processing all mortgages, insurance and property tax payments for all clients, as well as reconciling bank statements and providing assistance to the Director of Finance. Kacey’s has over 25 years of experience in working within corporate administration and accounting departments.
Sylvia Walker is a Portfolio Manager, with over thirteen years of experience in the property management industry. She has worked with Princeton for over five years and is quite skilled at property oversight along with establishing and maintaining client relationships. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Western Oregon University.
